Informix programmers/DBAs - I LOVE MY JOB! How bout you?

First off, I am *not* a recruiter. I am a programmer/manager
(notice that programmer is first). We need experienced INFORMIX
people pretty badly.
I work for PC Service Source, which is a company specializing in
servicing PC service centers. Say, your PC breaks. You send it
to a company that fixes them. Where do they get their parts? From
AST, Dell, IBM, etc.?? No, they get them from PCSS.
Aparently we've found a niche because our growth has been amazing.
We've gone from $0 to about $65,000,000 in 7 years. And the growth
has been exponential! We have nearly tripled the number of employees
in two years. Bottom line: *major* job security and promotion
opportunities!!
Our department has multipied into two areas: Development and Operations.
The Operations area handles all day-to-day problems: performance, data-
integrity, bugs and emergencies. Development handles all new programming
to enhance the functionality of our system.
The President of the company has said that "we are an IS-driven company."
We need some people to help us with this growth. We need people who
are well-versed in INFORMIX. We'll take 4GL programmers for the
Development area and INFORMIX DBA-types for the Operations area.
Now the fun stuff: Both areas are fun, relaxed departments. We are
the type of department that will get the job done quick and done
correctly, but will have water-gun fights in between jobs. The
directors of both areas are great guys and are great bosses! They
have come up through the ranks and understand programming/IS problems.
And... they both report directly to the President so there is very high
visibility! BTW, the directors of those departments are in their
mid-thirties and the President is in his late thirties/early forties.
It's a very young company.
Casual work environment. No ties, no suits, no hassles. Hardly any
red tape. very little bueracracy. We work hard but have fun.
The building is located in North Dallas at I-35 and Valley View (real
close to 635). Its a new building with six stories, nice, new, large
cubicles, a big break room and a free workout room for employees with
free weights, treadmills, stairmasters and weight machines. All in
all, pretty nice digs.
