Any JDBC drivers for informix anywhere (ifxjdbc.jar?)

Hi,

I have a JDBC driver file for Informix of unknown age, although the
version is known to be Version 2.11.JC1

I looked absolutely everywhere for Informix JDBC driver downloads, and
can not find a single one. One site at IBM (which now seems to own
Infromix) says to download them at
http://www-3.ibm.com/software/data/informix/tools/jdbc/
says they are there, the page only brings up an error message.

So, who know where to find Informix JDBC drivers?

It seems that IBM's download site is temporarily out of order. Even if it is
working, JDBC drivers are not free! Even worse: drivers from IBM have
limited functionality, especially if you plan to use two-phase commit (XA
drivers).

Better drivers can be found at DataDirect site
(http://www.datadirect-technologies.com), but these drivers are also
commercial (not free)...

Thanks, I got the DataDirect connectjdbc.jar. The jdbcReadme file in
that jar sound very complicated. You can't just pick out an informix
JDBC driver jar, but rather need to go through a very involved
installation process. Don't know if I want to do that. I may just
keep muddling along with my old Informix JDBC driversof unknown age
and origin (ifxjdbc.jar).

Any additional leads, sources, links for Informix JDBC drivers?

You can download at http://www.ibm.com/support/us/ (Select Trials & betas).
input infomrix (submit).

JDBC contains Informix ClientSDK.

BUT..... unfortunately, this site is not available in this time.
Try later.

The quickest access to free drivers is still at the Informix Evaluate site:

I have just tested the latest download JDBC 2.21.JC5, and it works fine.
