Hi everyboby:


I have try to connect a Brio Report Client in Windows 2000 to an Informix
Server 9.30 in RedHat 8 and i recived then next error: Environment
variable CLNT_PAM_CAPABLE is too long (maximum is -1 characters)
and the IDS 9.30 crash.

Someone have idea about how can I solve the problem.

I am think it bug, but cnanot remember numbre.

Hi,
This is a known problem in 9.30UC1, (bug #162319), and was fixed
in 9.30.UC5X3. You could request the IBM Tech Support to provide you with
the patch, though I am not sure if this message could cause a server to
crash. You might want to investigate a little more and see the online.log
file a little more carefully, to really understand the reason for the
crash.

Or download the latest 9.40 from the PPA website. That will resolve the issue.

9.30.UC1 is now quite old.
