On Windows Nt, I like to set the Environment Variables of Informix. I
save changes from SetNet32, but, this program don't save the
variables INFORMIXDIR and INFORMIXSERVER in the Registry.

Does anyone know why Setnet32 don't save this variables?

TIA.

Alejandro.

Always worked for me.
You may need to be administrator or equivalent of your PC.

Which version of Informix-Connect or Informix Client SDK are you using on
your NT box?

Newer versions of these packages have a checkbox "Use my settings" in the
lower left hand corner of the SetNet32 window. You have to check this,
otherwise your settings will not be saved in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER hive
of the registry.

Hello!

Try to check "Use my settings" box on Setnet Environment page.
It is necessary on Windows 2000.

Hope this helps

Dear All:

I've sucessfully figure out how to use ASP+stored procedure and then get
a recordset.
But if the select statement in my stored procedure returns datas more
than one row, I get an error message said "284: A subquery has returned
not exactly one row."

So I need to know that can a stored procedure return datas more than onw row?
I find something in the documents that talks about "row type data", Does
it has any relation with my question ?

Thansk for any feedback.

No, you probably need to use a cursor.

I think you wrote a SQL statement inline in the Informix SPL like you
would do in MS-SQL server. You cannot do that in Informix SPL.Fetch
stuff into variables using a cursor and return with resume.

There is *nothing* I would do in SQL Server.

In Informix you cannot do "*nothing*", it is not supported.
