Please help! Querying Informix with Excel, MS Query with ODBC

Dear All,

I am lookin for an ODBC driver so I can query an Informix database on a
Unix server from MS Access/Query/Excel on my NT worsktation.

If you have ANY suggestions or if you can point me in the right
direction I'd be really grateful.

Why don't you check the FAQ first (see my signature). Although the
ODBC section didn't get very well updated last time (still contains
some serious factual errors) you can find the information you need (in
section 12 - Third pary software).
You could also simply search this newsgroup on http://www.dejanews.com
for ODBC or MS Access to find a lot of info.

Do read the whitepaper on ODBC drivers by OpenLink at their web site
first. http://www.openlinksw.com - Product Info section.

There is everything you need on www.cornut.fr . To do this use the CI-Link
product. With CI-Link you can connect directly Excel to Informix without
being forced to use ODBC

You can install INFORMIX CLI and INFORMIX CONNECT to accomplish this task.
