Just when you have your week planned, some hurricane comes and blows you
away. I hate it when that happens! Actually, it wasn't particularly funny
at the time, and it's still not for many others in Opal's wake.
Anyway, rmy.emory.edu seems to have made it through unscathed and is back up.
It was down for almost two full days, so there will be a slight surge in
traffic as the mailing list/newsgroup gateway catches up. It will be more
pronounced on the list side of the gateway.
If you have recently posted something to the mailing list but have not seen
it come back as a list message, wait another couple of days before reposting,
unless you have already received a hard bounce. By a "hard" bounce I mean a
message from some mailer daemon saying that your e-mail could not be
delivered, as opposed to one saying that it is just delayed.
If you have any questions, please contact me directly.
Thanks,
Walt.
