Is there any GUI tool which can be installed on a client(Windows 2000
desktop) which will allow to alter the tables in an Informix DB on the
Unix/NT server.

Thanks and regards

You can order IDBA from customer service. It might be called
"Database Administrator". It includes SQL Editor and Table Editor.

I have not heard of any plans to put IDBA on Intraware, sorry.

Blast from the past.

I don't believe those products are orderable anymore.
The versions sounds like ROM, which was replaced with
IECC, which was replaced with OnWeb, which was renamed
ISA and IDBA.

SQL Editor is up to version 4 and is included with
IDBA, which may be called DB Administrator in the
ordering system.

You can also have a look at Server Studio for Informix.
This is a comprehensive GUI tool for Informix back-end developers and DBAs.
It includes DB Explorer, SQL Editor, Table Editor and a number of other
integrated tools which make server-side development easier, such as stored
procedure debugger, object difference analyzer, object reference analyzer,
etc.

You can download a free evaluation copy of Server Studio for Informix from
www.agsltd.com

Hope it helps,
