DB2 on AS400, Trigger programming

Hello
I have recently been told to develop a trigger for DB2 on the AS/400. My
previous experience is in Oracle. It would appear that triggers on the
AS/400 are actually external applications. I was hoping that someone could
point me to a good book that will teach me how to create a trigger using c
on the as/400. Thanks

Today, you can only write external triggers. If you wait a month or so, you will
be able to use the CREATE TRIGGER SQL statement to create triggers on the AS/400
and iSeries. This new support will be a superset of the DB2 UDB v7.1 trigger
implementation.
