Hello,

I have a client running DB2 6.1 on an AS/400 running OS/400 4.3. This
version of DB2 does not have the ROUND() function -- a statement that
works on the DB2 6.1 Windows NT development system failed on the
AS/400.

Is there a work around or a patch for this? Does DB2 7.1 for the
AS/400 have this feature?

Thanks,

Maurice Frank

Maurice,
As DB2 UDB for AS/400 (now iSeries 400) is part of the base operating
system (OS/400) - ie it is not a separate licensed program - so its
version/release is the same as the OS. The latest release is V4R5, and
it does support the ROUND function. Online references:

Re workarounds on earlier releases, if you use a newsgroup search engine
like deja power search, you can find suggested techniques using
FLOOR/CASE functions... see the comp.sys.ibm.as400.misc newsgroup.
