Hi All,
This is my env:
DB2: 8.2
OS: AIX 6.4
Here are the series of steps executed:
1. login into the machine using instance id db2inst1 (This id is
having full privileges)
2. db2 CONNECT TO SAMPLE (success)
3. db2 GRANT CONNECT ON DATABASE TO GROUP testgroup (success)
4. db2 CONNECT RESET (success)
5. db2 CONNECT TO SAMPLE USER testuser USING testpwd
SQL1060N User "TESTUSER " does not have the CONNECT privilege.
SQLSTATE=08004
As, testuser is part of testgroup, when a CONNECT privilege is granted
to group, it should be granted to the members of it also, but is not
being done here. Pls help me out

Thanks in advance
Satish.

issue resolved.......
db2 grps in UNIX envs should not be in UPPERCASE,but here the grpname
is in uppercase. recreating the grpname &
username in lowercase resolved all the issues

Satish
