I need help from any one who has experience using Platinum Log Analyzer
utility to perform a selective forward recovery or backward recovery.
For example if you want to redo all on-line transactions after a restore
of an image copy, or you want to undo all transactions from a particular
batch job, how can Log Analyzer help with these situations?

Any answer regarding Platinum Log Analyzer will be appreciated.

We are using Platinum Log Analyzer to diagnose problems, specially in
applications using dynamic SQL. It is the experience, that you need to make
sure the log contains alle data on rows changed, which is not allways the
case. One way to ensure this should be to use "data capture change" on the
tables in question.

Try BMC's DBLogmaster for DB2 for MVS.

Jesus,

If you haven't got the answer you need yet, drop me a line at
grai...@platinum.co.uk and I will try to help - I have considerable
experience with Log Analyzer as it's probably our best selling DB2
product.
