unload database
control SERVER/dbdat:sqlbase\unload\A\A.ucf
overwrite on server;
connect B;
load sql
control SERVER/dbdat:sqlbase\unload\A\A.lcf
on server
log SERVER/dbdat:sqlbase\unload\A\A.log;
(each segment specified in the load control file has 2MB)
The result of the unload command was perfect. But the load failed.
After about 40 minutes i've got the error 3926 which is not documented
but has perhaps something to do with log disk space. But i am sure
that my SERVER has enough free hard disk space (550 MB) and the
log filepath in the sql.ini points to my server (i saw the log files
there).
What can i do to accomplich my task ?
Andreas Meyer
03926 LOG LSC Log disk space critically short
Reason: Transaction rolled back due to LOW LOG DISK SPACE
Remedy: CHECK LOG DISK SPACE IMMEDIATELY. Long running transactions
pin down disk log files that could otherwise be deleted.
SQLBase has determined that free log disk space is
critically low and has forced this transaction to roll
back since it is pinning log files that must be released
to preserve the integrity of the database. SQLBase will
be forced to shutdown in the near future if this action
does not successfully recover log disk space.
You're running out of log space (or the database system thinks you are).
This is sometimes a bogus message. If you're on the latest version
(6.1.2), make sure you apply PTF3 and then insert the following in your
server SQL.INI file in the server section:
disablelogspacecheck=1
This will get you by the current problem.
