connecting Python and ADABAS under NT

I'm using Python (under NT) and have to connect it to ADABAS (ODBC).
The mxODBC module looks like it would do the job but there is no
compiled version of the C extension and I have no C Compiler to
try it myself.
Has someone connect Python and ADABAS with mxODBC and can publish
the pyd-file. Or are there other solutions to the problem (not
including the best solution to use Linux).

I have no experience with mxodbc is adabas. Can my help with a table export script with where clause?
