AS Portal Architect

Sorry for the non-technical posting but I work for a defense contractor
in Southern California. We are looking to hire an Oracle 9iAS or 10gAS
Portal Architect with J2EE skills. I attached a description below. I
was wondering if anyone might be able to give me some assistance in
locating someone or at least where to look. I really appreciate the

Sr. Oracle 9iAS Application Developer

Long Beach, CA

Essential Functions:
Sr. Oracle application developer with extensive design experience, data
architect, data modeling, who is capable of being the senior technical
lead working with all levels of CSC customers, CSC technical team, DB
support Staff. - Establish and enforce Oracle application standards, -
Guide and mentor technical team members - Complete design and
enhancements of logical and physical design, - Coding complex PL/SQL,
SQLPlus, Stored procedure/packages, DAOs - Support/test application on
major system upgrades of the major corporate databases

Essential Knowledge:
- Object Oriented Design - J2EE - Struts Extensive knowledge in
database design and PL/SQL coding with Oracle required - Application
and functional expert knowledge of interfacing - Object Oriented code
with Relational databases. - Familiar with formal development
methodology. - Prefer experience with CMM Level III process experience

Essential Skills:
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills - Design, development
and problem solving skills are required. - Excellent Client interface
skills - Aerospace and Defense experience - a PLUS

Organizational "Fit" Considerations:
Action-oriented Self-starter US Citizen or Resident Alien (green card)
- proof required On-site in Long Beach, CA Must pass background check
and drug test
