Information technology drives much of today's research and development.
Society's need for information will continue its critical role well into
the next century. This conference seeks to stimulate dialogue in both the
academic and industrial communities regarding the fundamental research and
development of intelligent information technology, its potential application to
manufacturing, multimedia and hypermedia systems. As a result, the
conference will have an impact on future directions of the information
technology strategies in education and technology transfer.
Authors are invited to submit original papers in all aspects of information
management systems and intelligent systems including, but not limited to,
the following subject categories:

SUBMISSION OF PAPERS
Five copies of the original research papers (maximum of 15 double-spaced
pages using point size of 12) should be received by the program chair,
Prof. J. Wong, Dept. of Computer Science, Iowa State University,
Ames, Iowa 50011, USA, by December 1, 1995. A cover page should contain the
title, authors names, affiliation, address, Fax number, e-mail address,
an abstract and three subject areas (which may be chosen from the list
of conference topics) that are most relevant to the paper.
Fax or e-mail submissions will not be considered. A letter must be included
confirming that at least one of the authors will register and attend the
conference if the paper is accepted.
Notification will be mailed by February 15, 1996. The final camera ready
manuscripts are due April 1, 1996 for publication in the proceedings.
Electronic submission of the final manuscript in postscript format is
encouraged.
Authors wishing to have their papers considered for possible publication in
either the ISMM International Journal of Mini and Microcomputers or the ISMM
Journal of Microcomputer Applications should send three copies of the
expanded paper directly to the Editors of the respective journals.
