jedi, nova and sred

hello everybody,
i am having some problem in using the jedi, nova and sred programs in
the sis suite of synthesis tools from uc,berkeley. the specific problem
i have is as shown in the transcript below -

i have no clue as to what the problem is. the executables for jedi, nova
, sred and espresso are there in the same directory as sis. i am having
similar problems with nova and sred. but, espresso seems to work fine.
if anyone hs had similar problems before could u please point me towards
the right direction.
