So far, the only thing I found was the SolidWorks App Wizard
, which I downloaded from the www.solidworks.com.
I used it in MS Visual Studio C++ 6 to create a project, when complied,
created a DLL. I was able to attach the DLL file in SolidWorks 98Plus
through FILE|OPEN. It 's presence caused "Example App|Example Menu
Item"
to appear on the menu bar.
Along with the APL help file, it's a nice tool and introduction for
using C++ with SolidWorks, but now I need get an examples the utilizes
the APIs.
Thank You,
Sam
Do you get SolidSolutions Magazine?
I just wrote an article that shows you how to use the appwizard.
It adds a new dialog box to the application that allows you to count the
faces in a model.
This should get you rolling.
If you don't get it, I'll send you the article upon request.
Hope this helps!

Your article and source code worked great in SW 98Plus.
It got me through the forms in the MS Visual Studios C++ environment.
Thank you very much,
Sam
