Hi NG.

Does anybody know how to do a batch conversion of the SLDDRW files to
DXF files. (has anybody done a macro for that purpose?)

And right now would it be nice to have the possibility to batch convert
my SLDDRW's listed in a text file made with "dir /s/o
\\%projectfolder%\*.SLDDRW >batch.txt"

All tips, tricks, hints and links are welcome :-)

Hi again....

I forgot to tell, that I'm heading for a solution that NOT needs to open
the SLDDRW's in SW, but which can work silent....but if it is impossible
- okay - then I must search for a

loop
file open
save as dxf
close file
end loop

solution....

Hi, Poul

you can try a demoversion of PWBatch:

http://www.pwnorm.com

This addin has a window and console module for print, import, and export.
PWBatch includes Autoexport. Autoexport saves all types of SW documents in a
given export format if you save your document.

DWG and DXF are easy to code...I will add a few more export when I get
some times.

...PDF is a bit complicated and still get out of the track sometimes.

bonnne journée ;)

I downloaded the test version a couple hours ago, but haven't received
a password yet. How long will it take?

ehhh

first, what adobe acrobat d'you have?
This must be the real Acrobat...not the reader, and you should
have the pdfwriter printer visible in your printer folder.

few things to setup in the INI file, then it should work.
See the information file for details.
But as I said it is tricky, cuz I send Keys as if a user was
doing all the job with the keyboard. If something interrupt the process
(changing windows, unexpected warning msg..) it will get all fuck up! :)

To avoid errors, there is a slider which set the "wait" timer between
operations,
so Solidworks can finish all is work before I go for the next "keys"...
On my DualP200mmx, I set this to 28sec and it run fine.
On a AMD1000Mhz -> just blazing at 1 sec ;)

email me if you still have problems...i'll check that out

see ya
