I am having problems with the Design Table feature on 98+.

I am trying to use the $configuration@component<instance> on an Assembly.
After I Insert the Table, I get this error:

Column heading "$CONFIGURATION@Slotted2<*>" contains an invalid component
name "Slotted2" or instance number "<*>"

From what I have found in the Help section, everything should be all right.

I am also having problems suppressing Part features with the design table.
The feature don't suppress when told to.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Mike,
Observed this also, but with the $STATE heading. Couldn't pinpoint the cause
because it only occurred at a particular company. Something about their
hardware or software configurations, maybe a dll conflict or something. This
has reportedly been fixed in SW99, but I do not have an SPR# for you. The only
workaround I have for you is to add the column headings anyway, then when
finished, close the part and restart SW. Edit the embedded design table and
then close it again. The error should disappear. I realize this can be a hassle
if it's a large part file or assembly, but it worked in the only other instance
I've seen this problem.

Best,
