Hello All,

If what i am about to ask has already been submitting on another
thread, please le tme know where it is.

The Solidworks 2007 sp5.0 i'm using currently has another hole
standard added to the list of "Ansi Inch", "Ansi Metric", "BIS",
"DIN", etc. it's a custom catagory added called "Custom Thread". the
Type: "tapped hole", Size: #000-120. someone who was here before put
that in there somehow.

but now when i go to the drawing and i use the "hole callout" feature,
it only displays the hole's diameter and drill depth. i have tried to
add this to the calloutformat.txt as follows:

[Custom Thread]
** TAPPED HOLES **
TAP-BLIND=;\
<hw-threadsize> <hw-threadseries> <hw-threadclass> <HOLE-DEPTH>
<hw-threaddepth>

Is there something else i need to add/edit in order to get this to
work?

thanks

Haydon

Try "<hw-threaddesc> <hw-threadclass>" instead of "<hw-threadsize> <hw-
threadseries> <hw-threadclass>" I have a couple of article kinda
about this topic on my blog: http://www.fcsuper.com/swblog/?p=36
