Greetings,
Does any one know anything about the files with the extention .ske
in the solidworks directory? Is there a way to open these files? is
there a way to create these files? how does the program use them?Just
interested and thought I'd ask.

These are the sketch files SolidWorks uses for the hole wizard. To edit them
you need to start SolidWorks with a "/d" as a command line argument. When
you open a part you should see an additional menu named "Developer Tools".
The "Read Section" and "Make Section" menu picks open and save the sketches.

I would like to open and modify the files Cborblnd.ske, Cbore.ske, Csink.ske
and Hole.ske
however SolidWorks will not allow me to open these files it will however
open the others.
Is there a reason for this? I would also like to add holes to the "Legacy"
tab is there a way to do this?

I couldn't open any of these files either. Don't really know why.
As for adding sketches into the wizard, look for a file named 'holewzd.idx'.
The format is described at the beginning of the file.
