Thanks,
Marvin Breshears
Zoom on one portion of the drawing and place a fence, then zoom back out
and zoom in on another area of the drawing and try to copy the fence
contents. When they select copy and give a data point, they are kicked
out of MicroStation with a fatal error 14. We have been able to reproduce
this error time and time again.
The work aound is to simply use two views, one view to copy contents from
and one view to copy contents to.
JP,
I was able to reproduce the MicroStation V5 problem you described and I wanted
to let you know that the problem appears to be resolved in MicroStation 95.
Marvin,
I wasn't able to reproduce your problem. If you could please put together a
set of step by step instructions on how to reproduce this problem and an idea
of your hardware configuration and send it to me off line, I'll be happy to
look into this more.
HTH,
Matt

But I am still not sure if it was a bug or limitation of our hardware ???
JP,
This is we like to call a undocumented feature. No, really I'm kidding! I
think it's pretty safe to say that it was a bug in the MicroStation V5 and
it is fixed in MicroStation 95.
