One of my clients is having problems with the IGES files I am producing.

The IGES files are run through Patran, to generate a mesh that Ansys-Dyna
can use for finite element analysis.

The problem is the generated meshes have a triangular and not square form.

I am not sure if the problem lies, with the base IGES file or the Patran
pre-processor.

But if anybody can give me a pointer, I would be grateful.

Chris,

Typically, these things are controlled by mesh generator settings. I would be
VERY surprised if this has anything to do with IGES files. All it does is to
bring in geometry.
