Is there a way (easy) to import a Microstation dgn file into
Microsoft Word (or WordPerfect)?

I tried to send the Microstation file to a jpeg file through
print/plot but it sends it with a black background. It doesn't even
show up in Word when I insert it, but it prints out, white on black
background. In WordPerfect it inserts, but views white on black, and
prints white on black. I want black on white.

I tried exporting to dxf file from Microstation, but Word won't even
read it. WordPerfect will import it but the text is all screwed up.

Any help appreciated.TIA.

Under: Workspace - Preferences - View Windows change
Black Background to White, then save your drawing as a
.jpg and you should be ok.

.. . .or output plot files using a postscript plot configuration file and
bring these into Word. This gives GREAT results (although the in-word
preview is lower resolution than the print.) Email me if I can help.

First - Are you have in MSWord import filter for dxf?
Second - For Microstation 95 you sholud install "fix" for exoprt/import
dxf/dwg files.

Try copying then pasteing to word using the clipboard
Works very well as long as there is no text in the selected drawing
