I'm cutting several sections and plans from a model that has a
heap of references attached. I've created a group file for the
referencing process and the ref files do actually end up in the generated
plan.

The fun part starts when TF doesn't process the clip boundaries of the
reference files. I tried all toggles and switches that seem relevant and
created a new group file but the result is the same.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

TriForma does not process clip boundaries of reference files at this time.
We expect to add this capability in the near future.

Hi Huw,

now that is truly amazing! Seems that if a firm is undertaking the
transition from 2 to 3D, they would want to rely on as many established
working methods as possible right? I would consider referencing and the
functionality that comes with that one of the most integral techniques in
using Ustation.

Is it particularly difficult to integrate clipping into TF? Is there an
ETA for this feature?
