Error (ADE-3036)

Hi, i was trying to run a simple test on a delay cell for the first time in virtuoso. I am getting the following error during Netlist and Run:


ERROR (ADE-3036): Errors encountered during simulation. The simulator run log has not been generated.
Possible cause could be an invalid command line option for the version of the simulator
you are running. Choose Setup->Environment and verify that the command line options
specified in the userCmdLineOption field are supported for the simulator.
Alternatively, run the simulator standalone using the runSimulation file in the netlist
directory to know the exact cause of the error.


this is the runSimulation file content

I tried to google for possible solutions, but i couldn't find anything helpful..!! Any help regarding the issue is duly welcome.

This bit would be the clue. I suspect you're running MMSIM11.1 or
MMSIM12.1 (you didn't say), and these require you to be using RHEL5 or
RHEL6 (or similar vintage SuSE), and running a 64 bit OS (note that
spectre can be run in 32 bit or 64 bit mode, but the OS must be a 64 bit
version).

Probably you're running an older OS revision on <idefix>. You should
check that.
