When starting the mtext command, the default text height is always .200. All my text styles are defined with zero height. Even after changing the height, the next time I use the command, the height is at .200 again. Any heights I've previously used remain available in the drop down box but the ..200 is always the default. Is there a variable I'm missing or a way to change this default value?
Thanks Pete

My favorite method is to use TEXT. (I hate MTEXT) oooo... I used the "H" word. I've got plenty of tools to handle the stacking and justifying of text and I'd rather do without the MTEXT crap.

The TEXTSIZE variable controls mtext text height.

You may have a routine running that redefines the mtext command to add the text height.
