My office is looking for a stacked fraction.

We use a custom font for this now, but I'm looking for something that works
with default dimensions. (no %%codes).

Although I can get the Architectural stacked fraction in dimensions, I
cannot get a stacked fraction in Mtext, I always get a fraction on the
baseline of the whole number.

What am I doing wrong.
Is the stacked fraction in Mtext affected by DIMTFAC?

What do most people use for stacked fractions?

One explosion of a dimension translates the dimtext into mtext. I've never
tried it with stacked fractions. Your answer may be to put the desired string
into a dimension then explode it... Let me know.

Your can get stacked fractions, but it is difficult and AutoCAD has a
shortcoming that doesn't make it any easier.

DIMTFAC does not effect the stacked fractions in Mtext.

If the MTEXT editor type your dimension.
Select the fraction characters (ie 3/4). Change the text size to reflect
that size created by DIMTFAC in Mtext. Then hit the stacking button.

Now comes the problems - you cannot get Mtext to align the text
correctly. When you exit the Mtext editor, the text will be aligned to
the bottom. Use the properties dialog and add the text "\A1;" (without
the quotes) to the beginning of the line.

That the procedure - I know it's tough, but works.
