Hi everybody,
my question is: is it possible to select an object (par example whith
"entsel") and than to highlight it.
Thank you for your help

(setq ename (car (entsel)))

(redraw ename 3) ;;will highlight it.
(redraw ename 4) ;;will unhighlight it.

Hi,

try the AutoLISP-command "REDRAW":

(defun c:hilite ()
(setq test (entsel "\nSelect object to highlight: ")
element (nth 0 test)
)
(redraw element 3)
)

Argument for redraw: mode 1 redraw
2 redraw with
komplementary color (= remove from screen)
3 highlight on
4 highlight off

In all cases "redraw" gives back nil.

Have a nice day...
Stefan

Don't forget that every redraw 3 should be balanced by a redraw 4 -
otherwise you have to do a regen to "unhighlight". (God, that's tricky to
spell)
