Does anyone know of a standalone utility to convert DWG to EPS? We
have a lot of drawings we need to convert, so doing them one by one is
out of the question.

Thanks

you may batch print to file or give CadMover (www.kandusoftware.com) a
try.

Use CAD 2000,Tools,Wizards....add a new plotter. Under Manufacturer,
choose Adobe. Under models choose PostScript Level 2. Let the Wizard
finish the new printer install. This option is available on any copy
of CAD 2000/2002.

When you are ready to plot, Plot as normal. But for the Printer
choose Postscript Level 2. Be sure to check plot to file, specify a
target folder. These files will then be saved in a .EPS format. The
cool thing is that it is an Electronic printed format of your CAD
drawing, that is set to the scale you specified as well as a good
translation of your lineweights based on your CTB file.

Now that you have this information, in order to convert a sizeable
number of drawings to this format easily, then simply perform a batch
plot, refer to the CAD 2000 manual for instructions.

Hope this Help
