I am looking for a TTF that is similar to the AutoCAD default
TXT font.

I have to ask why?
Autodesk probably regret the day they ever produced such an absurd
font anyway. You would probably find it difficult to find someone
willing to put their name to it.

Release 14 (and possiibly 13?) came with Truetype Fonts which imitate some
of the SHX font styles - But many users do not have these files. You can
download the Release 14 TrueType fonts (and many SHX font collections) from
the following URL:
http://www.renocadd.com/NNCADD/files/acadfont.html
That is, until Autodesk closes it down...Good Luck.

TXT.TTF (just the same as TXT.SHX) is included in R14 package :-)
