Can a plotter be networked from a NT 4.0 Workstation (#1) to another NT
4.0 Workstation (#2) using the auto spool "copy %s \\<printer server
name>\<printer name>? (I know this works from a NT Server - Nt
Workstation, as well as using "NET USE" command). If it does work
between 2 workstaions how does the plotter (HP Design Jet 650C) need to
be setup on the machine (#1) that it is connected to? Does if have to
be setup in the NT "Add Printer" menu in order to recognize the <server
name>\<printer name> when the other machine (#2) tries to connect to
it? The reason I'm asking about the setup of the plotter in the
"Printer Menu" is that I need to connect from machine (#1) to machine
(#2) in order to use a HP Laser Jet 5L that is connected to machine
(#2). I have had a problem with a lpt1 port conflict in tring to solve
this problem in the past. It worked great in Windows 95 using the
"Capture Port" setup, but when I upgrade to the full blown 32 bit NT 4.0
OS I started having this problem.
Thanks, Billy
