You should have a DXF output from that program
Here's a note I found on the web:

Sending DXF Files
When sending files the steps are generally reversed except that you will be
exporting DXF from your CAD program for use in AutoCAD. Here are a few tips
on sending files:

1. If you are exporting from a program such as PowerCAD or MiniCAD pay
attention to what your rulers are set at. Depending on your export options
this may determine the scale of the drawing when imported into AutoCAD.

2 If you are sending the files on a floppy disk. Format a blank disk as a
DOS disk using PC Exchange. or buy preformatted DOS disks. Do not reformat a
Macintosh disk as a DOS disk.

3 If you have to compress the files to fit them on a floppy disk, use
ZipIt. PC users will generally not be able to read files compressed in other
formats.

4 Be aware that PC users are restricted to file names with 8 characters
with a 3 character extension. Be sure to rename your files so they have 8
character files names with a ".DXF" suffix such as: FLOORPLN.DXF.
