I have never worked with AutoCAD but I have some cad and 3D
experience. I work in a service bureau/design house and have been
presented with a job proposition. We have a 3D studio artist in house
and have been asked to derive 3D meshes from AutoCAD dxf's or dwg's.

Is this possible and if it is How would it be done.
Any help that could clarify this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks you in advance.

With R13/14 you can use the 3DSOUT/3DSIN commands to export/import an
ACAD DWG 3D solid file to develop a 3D mesh. -Bill
