The command is ucs. type it in if you cant remember.

Best way is to make 4 viewports --- top front side and perspective, --
if you forgot how, you can set UCS for each window after using the
Viewports function to make four windows.
After that, you can travel the windows while you draw, --- try i, you
can allway's use the 'xy to change the hight in each window, ontop.
I believe what you are remembering is the isometric mode. If you type in
snap -> s (for style) -> i (for isometric) you can then use ctrl-e to
dynamically
"switch" between 3 "apparent" planes. However, the drawing is still 2D. I
am
not aware of any such ctrl or alt commands that allow dynamic rotating of
your ucs for 3D drawing.
