syntax for "diameter" symbol in dimensions

someone once showed me how to type the diameter symbol into dimension text
in ACLT 1.0, but I have forgotten how to do it, and can find no
documentation. I think it was alt-q-q--d or some such silliness, but
can't remember now. anybody know the code?

These are some of the codes for AutoCAD. I think they work for LT as
well.

Diameter %%c
Percentage %%%
Degree %%d
Plus over minus symbol %%p
Underline %%u
Overline %%o
Asci character %%nnn (nnn being the ascii code)

Or try %%c, since the cap "C" is for the centerline symbol, actually.
