Very strange! I just tested (again) http://garbo.uwasa.fi/ from
outside the university without any problems both with IE and
Firefox. The same functionality goes for subdirectories such as
http://garbo.uwasa.fi/pc/ and e.g. http://garbo.uwasa.fi/pc/ts.html
Try those paths. If the problem has persisted year after year, then
it can't but be at Yahoo's end. Garbo has been running with few
downtimes only, and the daily download figures still steadily amount
to thousands of files.

P.S. Since this now concers archive accessibility, I added the
newsgroup comp.archives.msdos.d

All the best, Timo

It is not consistent, and it isnt only Garbo.
I even had an ftp failure to respond by my own website server the
other day. It dont have that much traffic, and besides, like now, was
in the wee hours.

Just like that Timo, you setup a new usenet forum, no questions asked?

One of the links I cant get to work now is USdot for US newsgroups. I
wanted to see if we could setup a us.realistparty or some such, but
the instructions for the "us" heirarchy would not load.
