EPROM/PAL Programmer File Formats

Sorry for posting this to comp.arch, but others have been of little help
and I figure if anyone knows the answer, it'd be you guys!

I am writing a binary file editor (for MS-DOS). So far I have file
import/export to/from binary files, RAM, and raw disk sectors. What I'd
like to do is add HEX-like file routines for use with EPROM/PAL programmers.
The problem is that I do not have examples of these formats, and our
programmer will not be bought for another month or so.

So, could anyone PLEASE send be example files? If you do send them, please
identify what "kind" they are.

It would be a shame to have to release this editor without something as
fundamental as HEX files... Thanks.

This editor will be released into FREEWARE at the end of this month.
