The Lunar Lake series of processors from Intel, still a couple of generations
away, is to have a completely new microarchitecture, designed from scratch,
which will be focused on getting the most performance per watt for mobile
applications.

Since AMD isn't using Bobcat any more, but is using Zen for everything,
this has the potential of putting Intel ahead of AMD at least in the
mobile space.

Of course, Intel's CPUs already have P-cores and E-cores. But an E-core
only design may not be adequate for any but the lowest-performance
laptop computers; if so, this new design would be aimed higher.

We will see when they release it. I remember NetBurst - also a
completely different architecture - they discontinued it later.
