Hi,
We have contacted distributors and brokers without success looking for
either:

Philips 89C51RD+IN (DIP40)
or
Philips 89C51RD2BN (DIP40)

We need a few hundred pieces. It anyone knows of a supply please contact me.

I believe the RD+ is being phased out, but the RD2 is current and
popular.

You could also look for Temic T89C51RD2-3C, as a close alternative.
( T89C51RD2 has more SRAM, 2K EE, and operates to lower Vcc )

If it's any help for you in prototyping, I have five unused sample pieces
still in the box they came in from Philips :)

Hi Peter,
which disti did you ask?
Arrow is the official distributor for Philips micros.
You should be successful there.

I just checked with my contacts within Philips and the RD2 is your
only alternative within the Philips line. The RD+ has been dropped
and may indeed already have 0 availability.
