Embedded development in the netherlands

No, you are not alone. Although I am not making a living out of it
(yet..,hopefully in about seven, eight monthts) I know that a lot of
people are using microcontrollers (PICs, 68HC11, MCS-51).

At least there is a good compiler manufacturer in The Netherlands:
BSO/Tasking. They are almost the last one's producing good UNIX corss
compilers for the 8051 series.

Actually, I believe Tasking is an american company BSO bought up a few
years ago. (Could be wrong, tho).

Well, BSO/Tasking is the merger of the Boston Systems Office in the
USA and Tasking in the Netherland. The International headquarters is
in Boston, and the European headquarters is here in the Netherlands.
We have development facilities in both countries. So there are
actually people in the Netherlands making a living out of embedded
tool development (I do).
