Lotus 123 Classic Menu window display problem in V9.5

The classic menu window accessed with the "/" key now displays a narrower
window & with the text in an "Old English" font.
Because the window is narrower (left to right) only about 4 - 5 of the
options display.
The cursor displayed in the window is not in "synch" with the Menu options
and yet by pressing a classic menu option letter the correct menu action
results.Everything still works but I have to work somewhat blindly from
memory.
I have unloaded Millennium 9.5 which used to work fine & reloaded ver 9.7
but I still get the same display problem.
I wonder if it is a Win2000 O/S problem?

Too many fonts installed in your system is usually the reason. Occasionally it might be specific font that is corrupted but usually just too many fonts in Windows. Try removing a bunch and see if the program returns to expected behavior...that's what I did. Also I found that if I opened the classic menu immediately after launching the program that the correct font loaded then and thereafter during that particular session. Good luck. Others are reporting the same issue.
