FINAL CALL FOR PAPERS (DEADLINE EXTENDED)

JAWS is a national workshop and symposium on Agents, Multi-Agent
Systems, and related topics, held annually in Japan since 2002.
International JAWS (IJAWS) is the English language stream of JAWS,
consisting of research paper presentations and invited talks, and
has been held as a part of JAWS since 2010. IJAWS aims to foster
participation of international students and young researchers by
allowing research presentation, discussions and debate in English,
and to increase the level and quality of English language
publication on Agent-related topics in Japan.

Researchers and research students are cordially invited to submit
research papers in English to IJAWS on the following topics:

- Intelligent Agent frameworks and architectures
- Agent-Human interfaces and interactions
- Agent communication languages and protocols
- Agents and Natural language processing
- Agent coordination technologies
- Topics in Agent theory and practice (reasoning, planning, sensing, etc.)
- Mechanism design, Auctions, and Market computing
- Single and Multi-agent learning
- Agents and communication networks
- Agents and E-commerce
- Agents and optimization/sustainability
- Agents and parallel computing
- Agents and simulation
- Agents and social networks
- Agent applications in Robotics
- Deployed agent systems (commercial, industrial, etc)

Other topics related to agents are also welcome.

Manuscripts should be 4-8 pages in length in the format detailed

and should be submitted via the JAWS website:

Important Dates

Abstracts due: Friday August 17th, 2012 (or ASAP thereafter)
Full Manuscripts due: Friday August 24th, 2012
Acceptance notified: Monday September 10th, 2012
Final Manuscripts due: Monday September 24th, 2012
Workshop & Symposium: October 24th - October 26th, 2012

Awards

JAWS/IJAWS will feature a Best Paper award, an IJAWS Best Paper
award, a Young Researcher award, and Student Best Paper award,
to be determined by vote of the JAWS/IJAWS Program Committee.
