How am I goona implement my character to a matrix for NNTOOL

Hi, I'm trying to make a project. The neural network will regonize
alphabet's A,B,C,D,E. And these letters are defined in a 7x7 matrix or
lager if needed. For example for A:

XX XX
XXXXXXX
XXXXXXX
XX XX
XX XX
will be deifned like this. But to implement to the matrix I think, i
can use:
11111111
11111111
11000111
11111111
11111111
11000011
11000011

so how am i gonna define the letter for the toolbox and my outputs for
the five letter?
