Hi,

due to my study I have to write a term paper about "recent developments
in pattern recognition with ANNs". I found a couple of books (got around
15 at the moment) from authors like Bishop, Duda and so on. These books
are great but I need more sources, especially in the field of ANNs that
are able to "restore" patterns (like Boltzmann and Hopfield). It would
be great if somebody could point out some more resources (books, papers
etc. are appreciated)

Kind regards.

Simon Haykins book: "Neural Networks: A Comprehensive Foundation" has
a section on Boltsman machines, and also Hopfield networks. (And it's
a good book all around, if you ask me).

Otherwise, do a search on citeSeer, e.g.:

See what you can find for PNN (Probabilistic NN), WNN (Wavelet NN) and spectral-based neural
processing. Not much have happened, but there are some new algorithms that have proven very
robust for specific problems.
