I have distributed DYNACLIPS Version 2.0 to 30 people and
21 of them confirmed that they were able to set it up and run
examples without problem. THEREFORE IT IS READY FOR DISTRIBUTION.
DYNACLIPS Version 2.0 is still FREE.

This tool designed to show that Dynamic Knowledge Exchange
is possible and would be useful in some application. You can
also use as a Blackboard tool, Intelligent Agents tool.
In order to make this tool generic, I had to remove several
functionalty. This tool can easily be extented, if it is
necessary.

NO, Sorry. You must have CLIPS 6.0 to be able to use it.
You need to link CLIPS 6.0 with DYNACLIPS libraries.

1) IT IS FOR CLIPS 6.0.
(If you want DYNACLIPS Ver 1.0 for CLIPS 5.1, you need to dowload
it. If your sytem can not FTP, let me know, I can mail it
to you.)
2) After you rebuild, you can use DYNACLIPS as a regular CLIPS
6.0 when it is necessary.
3) You can manage Blackboard from C/C++ programs. This means
that you can add/ delete fact, command, rule to blackboard from
C/C++ program.

DYNACLIPS Version 1.0 for CLIPS 5.1
DYNACLIPS (DYNAamic CLIPS Utilities), developed by Yilmaz Cengeloglu,
is a set of blackboard, dynamic knowledge exchange, and agent tools
for CLIPS 5.1. It is a set of libraries that can be linked with
CLIPS 5.1. Source code is not available. Copies can be requested by

/pub/clips/Documents contains additional information.

BACKGROUND :
I have used Blackboard Architecture as a base and design a
Framework. In this Framework, each Intelligent agent is an
CLIPS shell and runs as a different process on SunOS operating System.
Agents use blackboard to communicate with other Intelligent agents
in the framework. Each intelligent Agent can send/receive facts, rules,
commands. Rules and Facts are inserted/deleted dynamicly while agents are
running. Knowledge can be transfered as a temporary any permanent basis.
While I was doing my thesis, I have integrated this tool with
Air Traffic Control Simulator. One intelligent Agents run for
each plane in the ATC Simulator. Inteligent agents tried to solve
conflict using dynamic knowledge exchange.
