Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any recomendations for ocr software for
Windows 3.11 for Workgroups. I am looking for somthing that will possibly work
with newsprint things medium quality typewriter print too. I was also hopeing
for one that can read italic's and other effects from camera ready typeset
print. We have a full page envisions 3100 scanner that claims to be a 600 dpi
scanner.

We have been using a program called Typereader, but it really sucks. We do
have the option to upgrade it, but I don't know if it would be worth it.

Thanks in advance.

The best of a bad lot that I have had experience with is WinOCR (shareware).
