Claire Fontaine: Paris-based collective Claire Fontaine gives a public
talk on subjects related to the Women's Movement of 1977 in Italy,
Autonomia, the war economy, and libidinal economy. The discussion will
also address a new neon work entitled WARM WAR outside, situated in a
public space of the city.

Extra info: Claire Fontaine has an indirect relationship with the French
journal Tiqqun which sprouted the now popular text "The Coming
Insurrection."

Dance Party! The third in a string of dance parties will be held at
Hagerty Hall. The Comparative Studies Undergraduate Group, You Are
Here! and other ask you to join us in a night of fun, joy, laughter,
activity, vibration, and coming-together. Sometimes it's an academic
experiment in affect, sometimes it's just letting loose. No matter what
it becomes, it'll come with a strong dose of theorization. This time:
dancing soldiers!

"Social Justice or Social War?"
The Institute for Experimental Freedom's Liam Sionnach presents a
freewheeling exploration of the emerging milieu of left communism,
post-structuralist politics, and insurrectionist anarchism. The evening
will be capped off with a 'zine release of the recent issue of IEF's
journal "Politics if Not a Banana" which includes perverse expositions
of social war, translations of Tiqqun, and comparative criticism.

Extra info: IEF's has played a central roles in popularizing 'The Coming
Insurrection', Tiqqun and other recent insurrectionist texts, and is now
driving the American reception. We're incredibly excited to be hosting
them!
