About the Institute
Yaunikta, Gender aur Adhikar - Ek Adhyayan is an annual week-long Institute in Hindi on sexuality, gender and rights. This Institute aims to enable women development workers from community based organizations to engage with a conceptual study of sexuality and its intersections with gender, health and human rights. The Institute will make available resource materials in Hindi on Sexuality, Gender and Rights.

Organizer
CREA is a feminist human rights organization based in New Delhi, India. CREA promotes, protects and advances women's human rights and the sexual rights of all people by strengthening feminist leadership, organizations and movements, influencing global and national advocacy, creating information, knowledge and scholarship, changing public attitudes and discourses, and addressing social exclusion.
Participants
Women working on issues of social change are eligible to apply for this Institute. Participants must be proficient in reading and writing Hindi, since all sessions and resource material will be in Hindi. 25-30 participants will be selected based on their application forms. Participants are required to stay for the entire duration of the course.
Venue and Dates
The Institute will be held in The Retreat, TERI, Gurgaon during February 14 - 19, 2011. (Begins 9 am on the 14th; Ends 4 pm on the 19th).
