Embedding Map

Apparently, I don't understand ...but....When I copy and paste the
embed snippet to my personal website, my map doesn't show, only the
Community Walk home page that says.................The creator of this
map has restricted viewing of this map.
Do I have to pay in order to do this ?

You have to set your map to "Shareable". It sounds like it's just set to "Private" which means you have to be logged in to see it.
